Cash Flow Budget Plan
Flick Financial offers a comprehensive cash flow budget planning service for individuals/families and small- to medium-sized businesses.
Accurate budgeting is one of the most important pieces for getting and keeping your financial affairs in order, but sometimes it can be tough to stay on track, and problems can sneak up on you without warning. Maybe your actual cash flows aren’t what you had forecasted, or maybe you aren’t even sure what your forecasted cash flows are supposed to look like. Maybe you are struggling with managing and staying on top of expenses, so your budget isn't balanced.
Whatever kind of help you need, our cash flow budget plan is designed to give you the tools and information you need to deal with those types of issues when they arise, and to avoid them altogether in the future.
Here’s what you can expect from our services:
Step 1: The Initial Interview
The foundation for our cash flow budget services is looking at both your current and your historical financial information, so we can understand what your current income and expenses look like, and how those numbers have changed over time.
Step 2: Develop Your Budget
Once we know where you've been and where you are today, we can work with you to establish an anticipated cash flow budget for the next 12 months. Because we know that there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all cash flow budget, we will work closely with you to come up with realistic goals and expectations, tailored to your situation.
Step 3: Ongoing Monitoring
We won't know if the cash flow budget is working as planned unless we are monitoring it, so we will ask you to provide us with a monthly cash flow statement showing income and expenses. We will use this information to measure how closely your actual cash flow is following the planned budget. We will then report the results back to you, so you have an opportunity to make adjustments in the following month to get back on track for the year.
Step 4: Periodic Status Meetings
Because we know that the reports you receive from us once a month may fall to the bottom of the pile, or may seem overwhelming, we will schedule meetings with you every quarter. In these status meetings, we will work with you to discuss and analyze the previous quarter's actual cash flow vs. the budgeted cash flow, and we can make some targeted suggestions and recommendations for improvements.
Strategic Cash Flow Budget Planning is Key
We believe that, in order for you to be successful managing your personal or business budget, you need to understand the fundamental components that go into a balanced cash flow budget, and understand how various actions will affect the outcome of your plan in different ways. Ultimately, the end goal of our cash flow budget planning services is to help you be more financially successful.
